Job Description
In this position, you play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department by managing a broad range of administrative, employee relations, and compliance tasks. This role serves as a central point of contact for employees and ensures the smooth execution of HR functions. HR Generalists are instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, maintaining accurate and confidential personnel data, and ensuring the organization adheres to employment laws and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and job applicants, delivering professional and courteous front-desk support.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and HR-related documentation to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HRIS databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Support payroll processes by gathering employee data and assisting with timekeeping records.
- Assist in planning and executing onboarding activities and employee engagement events to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor and promote adherence to workplace safety protocols and HR policies in alignment with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Support internal communication initiatives and distribute company-wide announcements.
- Perform additional administrative and HR duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a Human Resources support or generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional HR-related education or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service and data entry, preferably in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and office productivity software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must pass pre-employment background and screening checks.

The base salary range for this position is $33,280 to $37,440, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
