Job Description
This local telecommunications company that has been servicing Hardin County and surrounding counties for more than 3 decades. This company is seeking Helpdesk Technicians for their Customer Service Department, assisting customers with technical issues, such as phone and computer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Talking with customers, with patience and compassion, regarding technical issues
- Tracking and routing problems, requests, and documenting resolutions
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
- Diagnosing company products, such as home internet, email, telephone, and cable
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional phone etiquette skills
- Willingness to be trained for a long-term career
- Exceptional PC and internet knowledge
- Ability to write in a technical format is preferred
- Able to work 1st shift hours for training, and then 2nd shift hours afterwards, including some weekends
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening

The base salary range for this position is $15/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
