Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee all operations at our Bridgeview facility. The Manager will lead departments including production, maintenance, tool room, and shipping/receiving. The ideal candidate has a machining background, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in driving operational efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring performance goals are met across all departments
- Develop and manage budgets, financial reporting, and P&L
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate a team of 50–60 employees
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and workflows
- Maintain operational readiness of all facility equipment and resources
- Ensure adequate staffing and proper scheduling
- Collaborate with leadership to align operational strategies with business goals
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in machining or manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and P&L management
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Engineering, or related field)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Hands-on management style with shop floor experience preferred
