Job Description:
This role involves operating machinery or equipment, as well as loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently, following standard work procedures and supervisor guidance. The operator ensures adherence to safety protocols, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), maintaining machine safety features, and inspecting products for quality. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, following all site rules, and performing assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating assigned machinery and equipment, as well as handling the loading and unloading of materials efficiently and safely. All tasks must be performed in compliance with operational procedures and supervisor instructions to ensure a productive work environment.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensures that machine guards and safety features are functioning correctly while actively promoting a safe work environment.
- Visual inspection of product to ensure quality.
- Responsible for housekeeping and general maintenance functions within work area.
- Adhere to work locations rules and procedures
- Perform operations assignment as directed by the supervisor.
- Requires continuous standing and frequent lifting/carrying, stooping/bending/squatting/pulling/pushing, twisting of the trunk and neck, reaching and grasping/squeezing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently and perform frequent physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, pulling, pushing, twisting, and grasping.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 1-2 years of prior manufacturing production experience required within the applicable skill set for the position.

- Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as requested

The base salary range for this position is $19.00 Per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
