Title Financial Analyst IV
Pay Rate: $35.00
Location: NRG Stadium Area
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
The City of Houston Health and Human Services Department looking for a Financial Analyst IV.
Responsibilities:
- Completes extensive reconciliation of financial reports and SAP data to assist the Health Department with closing grants.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports and work on audit requests. Develops, monitors, analyzes and updates various reports, records, projects and plans. Develops, coordinates, monitors, analyzes and updates budgets. Develops and reviews internal audit and review procedures. Processes financial transactions.
- Acts as a liaison to external agencies and organizations to aid in handling inquiries, complaints or problem areas. Reviews, analyzes and recommends enhancements to financial programs and systems.
- Coordinates and conducts special projects. Monitors and implements line-item projections for specific accounts. Will perform other duties as assigned.
List Qualification or Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- Six years of professional experience in finance, economics, budget analysis or a closely related field are required: A Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field may be substituted for two years of the above experience requirement.
