Job Summary:
Financial Analyst I will assist the Healthcare System management in obtaining and maintaining necessary data for analysis including position control, statistics, budgeting and variance analysis, routine and ad hoc reporting, as well as various benchmarking, database management support for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the timely review and processing of routine Position Management Requests for the organization.
- Adheres to established guidelines for the timely processing and approval of requests.
- Shares findings with departmental leadership and makes adjustments, as needed, based on established guidelines.
- Assists in the maintenance and support of the budget software system (currently EPSi). Maintains and updates KVI Stat Flag assignments and Account Category assignments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on various EA tables ensuring tables are complete and updated as needed.
- Assist in the coordination, collection and development of key business metrics and statistics for the organization.
- Supports the annual budget development process for presentation and approval by the Board of
- Trustees and County Commissioner's Court as well as the quarterly adjustment process
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Finance or budgeting
- MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Medical terminology knowledge is a plus
- Potential Hybrid

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base hourly pay rate for this position, which is $25.00- $30.00 per hr, not including benefits, potential bonuses, or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
