Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of skilled maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional facility. This includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily facility inspections and report or address repair needs
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and building systems
- Complete and track work orders, maintain documentation, and update inventory logs
- Assist with construction oversight and interact with vendors/contractors
- Respond to off-hour emergencies and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years of facility maintenance experience
- Journeyman Electrician or HVAC license is a plus
- Experience with cleanroom environments and building automation systems is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must lift up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and be available for night shifts/weekends
