Job Description
As a Dispatcher you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of our trucking and crane fleet. This role involves scheduling shipments, managing driver routes, ensuring timely appointments, and addressing any issues that arise during transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Assign jobs to drivers and ensure they have proper documentation and support throughout their route
- Monitor and track jobs to ensure timely appointments and resolve any issues
- Be point of contact for customers regarding status
- Ensure all operations comply with Federal, State and Local regulations
- Understand and monitor hours of service to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Experience in trucking dispatch and transportation networks
- Experience with large cranes a plus
- Ability to work directly with customers and drivers in a daily basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Office
- Possess a strong attention to detail to ensure proper tracking and reporting
- Demonstrated Organizational Skills / Reading / Comprehension
- Ability to Work Independently & Manage Time Wisely

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
