Job Description
As a Dispatcher you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of our trucking fleet. This role involves scheduling shipments, managing driver routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and addressing any issues that arise during transportation
Responsibilities:
- Assign loads to drivers and ensure they have proper documentation and support throughout their route
- Monitor and track loads to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues
- Be point of contact for customers regarding delivery status
- Ensure all operations comply with Federal, State and Local regulations
- Understand and monitor hours of service to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Experience in TMS and transportation networks
- Ability to work directly with customers and drivers in a daily basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Office
- Possess a strong attention to detail to ensure proper tracking and reporting
- Demonstrated Organizational Skills / Reading / Comprehension
- Ability to Work Independently & Manage Time Wisely
