Job Description
The Reserves Network has partnered with a Houston-based company seeking an experienced Desktop Specialist to join their IT department. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive desktop and server support, software deployment, and system maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and image computer assets while managing and configuring software applications.
- Provide advanced support and guidance to Helpdesk team members.
- Manage, update, and support assigned Windows Servers and related software applications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve desktop operating system and application issues.
- Assist with maintaining and cataloging IT assets, printers, and endpoint protection systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of related IT experience.
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (equivalent certifications or experience accepted).
- Working knowledge of Office 365, Windows Server 2016/2019, and Windows 10/11.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, network fundamentals, and IT standards.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and customer service skills.
