Job Description:
Join a dedicated public health team focused on improving the oral health of the community. As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide preventative dental care and education under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This role includes hands-on care, patient education, and support for treatment planning. A great opportunity to serve in a collaborative and wellness-focused environment.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide preventative dental care and education under the supervision of a licensed dentist. Responsibilities:
- Perform screenings, identify potential issues, and assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Deliver comprehensive hygiene care including x-rays, prophylaxis, scaling (including deep scaling with anesthesia), fluoride, and sealants
- Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and document interactions in patient records
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols; maintain clinical records
- Assist with operatory setup and breakdown between patients
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college or university
- Current Georgia dental hygienist license
- Minimum of two years of related dental hygiene experience
- Comfortable performing sedentary work with occasional standing or walking
- May serve as a lead worker as needed
