Title Customer Service Clerk
Pay Rate: $20.00
Location: NRG Stadium Area
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
The City of Houston Health and Human Services Department looking for an Customer Service Clerk.
Responsibilities:
- Performs basic research and gathers necessary information to resolve routine customer problems and respond to inquiries via mail, telephone, e-mail and personal contact. Communicates findings to customers. Refers non-routine problems to supervisor.
- Performs data entry activities to update customer records within authorized limits. Receives and verifies completeness and accuracy of requests from customers; processes requests and work orders utilizing a computer terminal and/or tracking system.
- Provides information about City services, ordinances, policies, procedures and pricing.
- May act as a backup to a customer service section and an administrative support section.
- Will assist with maintaining demographic, laboratory, epidemiologic, treatment, and clinical information for all cases, suspects, contacts, and preventive treatment patients. Performs other duties as assigned
List Qualification or Requirements:
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License .
- Requires a high school diploma or a GED .
- Must have Six months of clerical/customer service experience are required.
