Job Description
Department of a large public sector entity has an immediate opportunity within their building maintenance and recycling area. Great opportunity for long term employment!
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain building, tools, equipment and supplies
- Monitor and instruct custodial staff
- Monitor and assist in the recycling program
- Assisting with vehicle maintenance
- Replace light bulbs
- Routine ground maintenance such as collection of litter, pressure washing and replacing of trash bags
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Located near the highway with close access to restaurants
- Work with a company that offers continuing education and career development opportunities
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in using a variety of repair tools effectively and safely.
- Ability to operate a nail gun with precision and efficiency, including loading and unloading nails.
- Proficiency in using both manual and electric saws for cutting wood, metal, or other materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
