CNC Machine Operator – Fabrication | $18.00 Per Hr + DOE | 3rd Shift 10:00 pm – 6:30 am
Your New Role
Join an exceptional manufacturing team based in South Charlotte, NC, as a Machine Operator. You will help fabricate solid-state laser materials and components for medical, defense, industrial and scientific applications. You will work with a dedicated team committed to ensuring the greatest level of production and quality.

- Pay starting at $18.00+ per hour depending on experience
- 3rd Shift 10:00pm – 6:30am Thursday – Sunday
- Must be able to following technical work instructions, understand engineering blueprints, and verify conformance to specifications within given tolerances

- Strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Crystal fabrication and the operation of CNC Machines, MAAS lathe, surface grinders, centerless grinders, and polishers
- Selecting and maintaining tools for assigned equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance for assigned equipment
- Utilize the Shop Floor Control System for data entry and scanning parts through applicable routing steps
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree or 2-year technical degree
- Experience with the following equipment is strongly preferred: HAAS (CNC or Lathe), Harig, Chevalier, Okamoto, Glebar, or DCM
- Must be able to follow technical work instructions, understand engineering blueprints, and verify conformance to specifications within given tolerances
- Good visual acuity, strong basic math skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in English, verbally and written, in a technical environment
