We're currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup Operator to join us. This position is open due to expansion and increased production demands. As a CNC Lathe Setup Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC lathe machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.
- Adjust machine settings, including speed, feed, and depth of cut.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, adjusting as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC lathe setup operator.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and job specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
