Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Buyer/Planner to manage procurement and inventory planning for a defined product group. This role ensures materials are sourced on time and in the right quantities to support production schedules while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities
• Manage purchasing cycles from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements to prevent shortages or excess
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and engineering teams to align material availability with operational demands
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and purchase order tracking
• Support supplier communication, performance evaluation, and continuous cost improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, planning, or materials coordination
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; APICS certification is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, planning, or materials coordination
