Job Description
Are you a proactive, hands-on purchasing or supply chain professional looking to thrive in a fast-paced environment? Do you have 3+ years of experience in purchasing or planning within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors? Our customer is seeking a Material Planner to support logistics and procurement for our high-performing distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders and manage supplier relationships
- Research vendors, negotiate pricing, and resolve backorders
- Maintain accurate inventory data and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely supply chain execution
- Utilize ERP (preferably SAP) and Business Intelligence tools for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing/supply chain (manufacturing/distribution/industrial)
- Experience with SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems
- Strong data entry, math, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's Degree preferred

The base salary range for this position is $25.00/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
