Job Description A national law firm specializing in government debt collection is seeking a Bilingual Collector to join their team! This role will have a direct impact by helping collect delinquent accounts. The ideal candidate will utilize their strong communication skills to locate and monitor overdue accounts, notify customers of delinquent balances, and work with them to arrange repayment schedules. Responsibilities:
- Locate and monitor overdue accounts
- Notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone
- Confer with customers about their accounts and advise strategies for debt repayment
- Help customers make arrangements for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules
- Maintain email correspondence and follow up on voicemails
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong time management and negotiation skills

The base pay range for this position is $16/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
