Job Description
The Benefit Specialist supports the implementation and administration of Total Rewards benefit programs. This role plays a vital part in ensuring all employee benefit plans are compliant, equitable, and cost-effective. Communicate and collaborate closely with leadership and external vendors to deliver best-in-class benefits experiences for employees. Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement
- Serve as primary point of contact with benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators
- Manage open enrollment, benefits communication, and annual plan renewals
- Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, SCA, and other regulatory requirements
- Track employee leaves and coordinate related benefits and documentation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or human resources
- Strong knowledge of benefits compliance (ACA, COBRA, SCA, etc.)
- Experience working with HRIS systems and benefits platforms
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate across departments
