Job Description
As a Bench Hand / Polisher, you will bench and polish simple to complex hardened steel mold cavities. You’ll be responsible for precise finishing using hand tools while ensuring all parts meet critical quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Polish and finish hardened steel mold cavities to exact specifications
- Remain seated for extended periods while performing detailed work
- Use hand tools to achieve a fine finish on aerospace components
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in polishing or bench work preferred
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to remain seated for 6–8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong visual acuity for fine detail work
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
