Job Description
As a Bale Press Operator, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process by operating and tending to equipment designed to press and bale products. You will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring product quality. Attention to detail and effective communication are key components of this role.
Responsibilities:
• Follow and enforce company safety standards and regulations.
• Operate equipment for baling products, ensuring consistent quality and output.
• Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) based on specifications and production requirements.
• Inspect products using measuring tools to ensure conformity to specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records, including approved and defective units, in accordance with standard operating procedures
. • Communicate with supervisors regarding any operational issues or concerns. •
Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safe working conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and operational guidelines
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Certification for operating industrial trucks may be required
