Job Description:
Individually or as part of a team, assembles various components according to documented instructions to create the final assemblies needed by customers. Responsible for identifying all components and hardware, ensuring proper assembly, packaging, documentation, and tagging of all assigned assemblies. Reviews production paperwork to understand the specified requirements for manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately measures parts to ensure they meet print specifications and checks material for quality, including edge quality, surface defects, and paint imperfections.
- Completes production paperwork, including quality and timekeeping records, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area per 6S standards.
- Works effectively with team members, demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Wears required safety equipment and correctly fills out production tags to identify produced parts.
- Performs basic setups using prewritten programs and reads blueprints to monitor required characteristics.
- Receives on-the-job training from the cell supervisor and contributes to Continuous Improvement initiatives with the Cell Leader.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience: Not applicable
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting
- Required to wear safety glasses and shoes in all manufacturing areas
- Hearing protection required in posted areas and optional in unmarked areas

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $14.00 – 16.00 per hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
