Job Description
In this role you will oversee and manage all general accounting for a specific business unit within the organization. It will be essential that the right person have an established set of skills in month-end-close, complex reconciliations, journal entries (including adjusted entries), and have exposure to cost accounting, ideally. We may also consider someone coming directly from a Big 4 Accounting Firm as an Auditor if they have audited large multi-entity organizations. This role has upside into accounting leadership for the right person as this organization grows further.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions for a defined business unit
- Lead month end close and reporting that flows upstream
- Lead a team of 2-3 accountants
- Assist in audit related functions
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Must have 2+ years of public audit experience & 4+ years of overall experience
- Prefer a candidate that led month end accounting processes for a complex organization
- Prefer a candidate that has worked in a robust ERP system
- Prefer an active CPA license

The annual base salary for this position is $100000 – $125000 per year (excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
