Job Description
A long-standing Omaha organization, with a great local reputation is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting for multiple partnership entities and support operational accounting activities across its asset portfolio. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, managing audits, ensuring GAAP compliance, coordinating budgeting/forecasting, and supporting internal stakeholders.
This role is perfect for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment, enjoys improving processes, and wants a role that blends technical financial reporting, compliance, and cross-department collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multiple partnership entities.
• Prepare required compliance documentation and handle inquiries from lenders and rating agencies.
• Drive annual budgets and reforecasts in partnership with plant operations and leadership teams.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource across departments.
• Strengthen accounting workflows and enhance internal controls.
• Mentor junior staff members
• GAAP compliance through reconciliation and documentation review.
• Coordinate year-end audits
• Maintain robust controls to support fraud prevention and data accuracy.
• Consistently meet reporting deadlines through dependable attendance and prioritization.

Qualifications and Strengths
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree – Accounting or Business
• 5-10+ years of senior level accounting experience
• Strong in GAAP & Audit Reporting
• Strong understanding of financial and operational controls

• CPA credential or public accounting exposure
