Job Description
In this role you will be welding nickel and other alloys using techniques like TIG and MIG, reading blueprints, performing fit-ups, and ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities involve preparing materials, operating welding equipment, inspecting finished work, and collaborating with a team while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical documents including blueprints, travelers, weld symbols and customer specifications
- Fit-up parts and assemblies prior to welding
- Weld in a variety of Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloy materials
- Weld proficiently in various processes such as GMAW, GTAW and FCAW in various positions
- Grinding and cutting using hand plasma as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certificate of welding school or relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years fitting and welding experience with Stainless Steel & Nickel Alloys
- Skilled in GMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to build complex fabrications
- Strong understanding of blueprints, weld symbols and weld joint designs
- Demonstrates ingenuity and creativity in problem solving
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $22-30 an hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
