The Reserves Network Names Laura Bowen Chief Operating Officer

The Reserves Network, a staffing industry leader in the areas of manufacturing, logistics, engineering, call centers, finance, real estate, public service and healthcare, has announced the promotion of Laura Bowen to chief operating officer (COO) of the company.

Bowen assumed her new responsibilities effective February 20, 2023. She transitions from her position as president of The Reserves Network’s ExecuTeam and Team1Medical affiliate companies to the new role where she will assume responsibility for all the company’s branch and service teams.

“The Stallard family has known and respected Laura for two decades and our merger with ExecuTeam and Team1Medical in 2019 brought that talent directly to The Reserves Network,” said CEO Neil Stallard. “No one has shown more leadership than Laura over the past few years, and no one has embraced changes and challenges more. She has been instrumental in the work we’ve done to diversify our services, and her passion for people and customers is unwavering. We can all learn from her how to operate with quality, reliability and integrity.”

Bowen has over twenty-five years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. An integral part of creating and developing ExecuTeam’s healthcare division, Team1Medical, she became president of both ExecuTeam and Team1Medical in 2013.  Among accolades the businesses have received during her tenure include: Forbes Magazine’s – America’s Best Recruiting Firms in the category of Professional Recruiting and Executive Recruiting; Expertise.com’s Top 20 Best Employment Agency in Houston; Houston Business Journals’ Fast 100 Company; Best of Staffing in Client and Talent Satisfaction for eight consecutive years; and a proclamation by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner declaring October 21, 2020, to be ExecuTeam and Team1Medical Staffing Day in recognition for providing staffing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the course of her career, Bowen has served ten consecutive years on the executive board of HAAPC – Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants – including two years as president. She was an Executive Board Member for the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants for four years and served five years on the Board of Managers for the Affiliated Staffing Group.  Additionally, Bowen is an accredited Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS) and Certified Search Consultant (CSC). A graduate of the University of Houston, she remains active with alumni functions. ExecuTeam and Team1Medical have been named to the Cougar 100 by the University of Houston since 2018, most recently ranking fourth. The honor recognizes owned and operated businesses by Cougar alumni.

“As we look to strengthen The Reserves Network and launch into a new level of growth and development, I’m excited and honored to serve in this new role,” says Bowen. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to help ensure that our love of staffing is demonstrated on a daily basis as we work with our customers and employees to provide workforce solutions.”
