The Reserves Network Takes Part in 2017 Harvest for Hunger Campaign

The Reserves Network’s Northeast Ohio branch offices and its Corporate Headquarters in Fairview Park, Ohio took part in the 2017 Harvest for Hunger Food Drive Campaign collecting 558 pounds of food and household products.

The items were collected throughout the month of June at TRN’s area locations.  The amount of food and household products raised translated into almost 500 nutritious meals for hungry families throughout the region.

Harvest for Hunger is one of the largest annual, community-wide food and funds drives in the nation. It provides critical resources to local hunger relief organizations in 21 counties in Northeast and North Central Ohio.

Donations for TRN’s campaign were made by staff and customers. The company’s Lakewood, Ohio office was named TRN’s “Outstanding Food Drive Collection Branch.” Not only did the branch raise donations as an office, but teamed-up with one of their customers, Timco Rubber Products; as a result, Timco raised an abundance of extra donations. As “Outstanding Food Drive Collection Branch,” Lakewood received a plaque and catered lunch.

“We are so thankful to everyone at The Reserves Network for the commitment and generosity towards this year’s Harvest for Hunger campaign,” says Alyssa Giannirakis, food and funds drive manager. “We are serving more people now than before the recession, so we rely on the compassion and kindness of people in our communities to support those in need. The Reserves Network is a wonderful example of people helping people to make a difference in the world.”
